The food images on the home page

The food and drink pictured on the home page are AI-generated images, made with Google's Gemini 3 Pro Image model (Nano Banana Pro). They are not photographs taken at LÚA, and the dishes as served will differ in detail.

The map on the Visit page

The map is rendered with MapLibre GL JS, which is open source under the BSD 3-Clause licence. Its tiles are served by OpenFreeMap, built from © OpenMapTiles schemas.

The underlying geography, and the walking route drawn on it, come from OpenStreetMap and its contributors. OpenStreetMap data is made available under the Open Data Commons Open Database License.

Privacy

This site runs no analytics and sets no cookies of its own.

What you type into the chat assistant is sent to Google's Gemini model, through Google Cloud Vertex AI, to write the reply. The conversation stays in your browser until you close the tab, and this site does not store it.

Before the assistant answers, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the message comes from a person using a browser. Turnstile collects information from your browser to do this, as set out in Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

The map on the Visit page loads its tiles from OpenFreeMap, which sees your IP address as any website you visit does.
